Top 10 Brands to Follow for Inspiring Mind, Body, Soul Balance

If there is one common thread I have found between all of the people that I count as successful in both business and in life, it is that they all strive to obtain balance in these three areas – mind, body and soul.

Most of us spend the majority of our time in one or two of these areas and little to no time in the others. As with most things in life, it is easier said than done to get all three in balance. However, if Marie Forlio, Oprah Whinfrey, Richard Branson and Tony Robbins are anything to go by, I’d say it’s worth it!

A great place to start is to find inspiration from experts in each area.
These experts excel at keeping their mind, body and soul in balance, however their focus when in service to others through their business, typically rests within one particular area with subtle crossovers into the others (and sometimes not so subtle!).

Below are my top brands and personalities to follow, either on their social media pages or by signing up to their mailing list for daily inspiration, in order to help you get whichever area you are lacking in, back in balance.

Mind

There are thousands of studies and reports that have demonstrated the importance of continued learning. Continuing to learn new things has been shown to delay and possibly even prevent the onset of various diseases including Alzheimers and Parkinson’s. Your brain is a muscle and works just like every other muscle in the body, if you use it, exercise it, keep it active, it gets stronger. Keep your brain fit!

Body

Your body is your temple. It makes everything you do possible. Your body should be loved and respected and if you look after it, it will look after you. Of course this means making sure you do the best job you can to nourish your body with healthy, organic, unprocessed, clean foods as well as exercise to keep your body fit and in good working order. This is the area I struggle most with! These great resources are helping me to get my body focus back in balance:

Soul

Your soul area is everything spiritual. Whether you call it faith, religion, common sense or the force, spirituality is your understanding of life and the world we live in. Having a strong spiritual practice helps you to discover your purpose and direction. Spirituality keeps you grounded and focused while awakening a humbleness and compassion towards others.

 

So there you have it! Get your mind, body, soul balance back under control today. Take what is useful to you from the above, whether it be that you follow all, one, or none, it is entirely up to you. The above are just examples of some of the resources I use to find my daily doses of inspiration. Your list may be the same, similar or nothing like it! The main thing is that it may help inspire you get some balance back in your life, particularly in areas that you feel may be a little neglected.
